Role OverviewThe Nomura Healthcare Group is based in New York and advises on a full range of strategic and financing transactions. As a member of the Healthcare Group, the associate will be part of lean deal teams with direct access to senior bankers and clients. The associate will take an active role in developing, structuring and executing a broad range of advisory assignments and financing transactions for our clients.
What You Will Do
Lead role in Deal Execution: Work closely with clients and execution teams on live transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, divestitures, and capital raisings. Produce and present ideas at client meetings as a member of a deal team alongside senior bankers.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare investment banking
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and landscape, especially for biopharma industry
- Experience in sell-side and buy-side healthcare M&A execution
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Outstanding academic qualifications, strong GPA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
- SIE, Series 79 and 63 required
