Role OverviewThe Associate Lawyer will advise on the formation, structuring, operation, and regulation of private investment funds and their advisers as part of a dynamic and growing corporate group. The position requires approximately 10% of domestic travel per client or firm needs to non-worksite locations. The hybrid/remote worksite location is from the same MSA.
What You Will Do
Advise on the formation, structuring, operation, and financing of a wide range of private investment funds. Draft, revise, and negotiate fund documents. Coordinate all aspects of a fund launch and closing. Assist with ongoing federal and state regulatory filings and other compliance obligations for RIAs, exempt reporting advisers, and other advisers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be admitted and in good standing with the NY bar as a licensed attorney. Must have experience and demonstrated knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

- 2 years of experience as an attorney with fund formation experience
