Mercor is seeking a Retail Investment Research Specialist to research stocks, sectors, and market trends, and provide feedback on AI-generated insights. The ideal candidate has experience with public markets and strong written communication skills.

Requirements

  • Active participation in public markets (equities, ETFs, or similar instruments)
  • Demonstrated habit of researching and tracking investments independently
  • Ability to explain why a stock is moving or whether a move matters
  • Strong intuition for market sentiment, narratives, and behavioral patterns
  • Comfort using platforms such as Reddit, X (Twitter), Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, TradingView, or similar
  • Clear written communication skills and ability to express investment reasoning
