Role OverviewThe SharePoint Application Development Lead is responsible for designing, testing, and developing well-designed web-based software code that is testable and efficient, using best software development practices to meet user needs. This role involves recommending software upgrades for current and future systems, translating User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes, ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing, and documenting every aspect of the application, service, or environment as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.

Provide project and product oversight while managing application development schedules based on client priorities. Define and recommend application architecture improvements. Design, test, and develop well-designed web-based software code that is testable and efficient. Utilize best software development practices to meet user needs.

Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint, strong knowledge of front-end and back-end web development technologies, proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
- Proven experience in web application development
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint
- Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end web development technologies
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and translating design wireframes into functional applications
- Strong understanding of software development best practices
- Ability to recommend and implement software upgrades
- Experience in software maintenance and testing to ensure continued functionality
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity or experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React
- Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and libraries
