Role OverviewLabCorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Hazel Green AL. This role involves performing blood collections and specimen collections for various tests. The phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office.
What You Will Do
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and perform data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis, and maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
