Job Description

The IPR Practitioner provides intensive psychiatric rehabilitation services to adults with serious mental illness, promoting recovery, full community integration, and quality of life.

Requirements

  • B.A. degree in Human Services Field
  • One year of experience in working with persons with psychiatric disabilities
  • 60 hours of intensive psychiatric rehabilitation training
  • Knowledge and understanding of disabilities and effective teaching and training techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of behavior management techniques
  • Strong interpersonal/counseling skills
  • Clearance from all applicable background checks
  • Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Computer literate or have basic knowledge of computer skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Proof of state minimum liability insurance coverage
