Role Overview

As a member of the Information Services Department, the IS Project Manager will manage and execute technology projects to improve business results and client experience. The IS Project Manager is responsible for coordinating across the overall program, scope, risk and schedule management and troubleshooting.

What You Will Do

Work with business teams to complete project intake, define project scope and objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Manage projects, develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor performance deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline
  • 5 years of IT industry experience
  • 5 years of project management experience
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management and organization skills
  • Strong leadership and people skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, managers and clients
  • Strong professional communication both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall project management methodologies
  • Gather requirements and process mapping experience required
  • Proactive, self-motivated with a high level of ownership and drive to achieve goals
  • Skill to document complex systems and procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of system life cycle processes
  • Relevant technical, functional and/or process expertise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to navigate sometimes ambiguously defined problems, developing creative solutions and delivering meaningful results
