Role Overview

The IS Technician I provides troubleshooting and support to in-house local and regional office technology users, under general supervision. The technician performs question/problem diagnosis, guides users through step-by-step solutions, and troubleshoots networked computer issues.

What You Will Do

Deliver, set up, and assist in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices. Diagnose and resolve system hardware, software, network, and user issues via telephone, email, in person, or remotely.

Requirements

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware/software concepts.
  • Delivers, sets up, and assists in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices in a corporate setting.
  • Diagnoses and resolves system hardware, software, network, and user issues via telephone, email, in person, or remotely.
  • Interfaces with end users and I.T. personnel for resolution of desktop and end user device related problems.
  • Assists with all aspects of technical support, assists with the onboarding and training for new hires.
  • Instructs end users in the appropriate use of equipment and/or software.
  • Assists with technology planning and implementation of technology projects.
  • Manages User accounts across a wide variety of systems.
  • Is a primary contact for helpdesk requests.
