Role OverviewThe ISP/OSP Fiber Technician will be responsible for the installation, termination, splicing, testing, certification, and documentation of fiber optic cabling as well as related fiber optic maintenance activities. The position requires a minimum of 2 years' direct experience in the Telecom field and the ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check.
What You Will Do
The Fiber Splicer Technician will perform duties such as fiber terminating, splicing, and testing both inside and outside plant, and will be responsible for the installation, termination, splicing, testing, certification, and documentation of fiber optic cabling.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' direct experience in the Telecom field
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check
- Clean driving record and valid Driver's License
- Bucket truck experience
- Ability to safely operate and work from a bucket truck in compliance with company safety standards
- Ability to distinguish varying fiber colors
- Copper splicing experience a bonus
