Role Overview

The IT Architecture Lead Architect – AI is responsible for architecting and delivering enterprise-grade AI and machine learning solutions that drive measurable business transformation.

What You Will Do

The Lead Architect manages medium to large work efforts as assigned by leadership, with primary upward interaction directed to their direct leader and executive IT leadership, and regular engagement across peers and other management levels.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years serving as an architect, technical lead, or equivalent design authority for enterprise-scale technology solutions
  • 2+ years of experience deploying AI/ML solutions to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • 3+ years of experience working with large-scale data systems (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, distributed processing frameworks such as Spark)
  • Proficiency with Python + experience with modern AI application frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI) and familiarity with traditional ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into AI-driven solutions with measurable outcomes
  • Strong capability to influence and partner across functions, driving alignment and outcomes without relying on formal authority
  • Experience leading complex initiatives and improving processes, tools, or operating models at a functional level
  • Sound judgment in identifying, anticipating, and mitigating risk within scope of responsibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Highly organized with excellent organizational skills with experience operating in time-sensitive, ambiguous environments
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and professionalism, fostering productive working relationships
