Job Description
IT Asset Management Analyst 3 position available in Newport News, VA. Establish and implement hardware and software acquisition, protection, maintenance and retention policies. Evaluate and recommend products based on user requirements. Coordinates with procurement function to purchase equipment at lowest cost.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Expert knowledge of software licensing terms and conditions
  • Experience with Altiris, SmartTrack, HP Asset Management, SAM Pro, or other IT Asset Management systems
  • Understanding of licensing impact on IT Data Center, Server and Cloud Infrastructure, and On-Prem Vmware Virtualization environments
  • Expert knowledge of product use rights for publishers such as Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, SAP, IBM, etc.
