Role OverviewThe Data Architect will shape the future Allianz Data Platform (ADP) data offering by evaluating, designing, and implementing technical platform capabilities. They will advise local implementation teams on best practices for effective and efficient application built and use case implementation.
What You Will Do
The Data Architect will lead the migration of data workloads and data stores to MS Azure Cloud, design and build data architectures, and stay updated with developments in data management and data engineering.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8-10 years experience required with five years’ experience as a Data Architect or similar role
- Deep understanding of data architecture concepts, data modeling techniques, and data platform frameworks
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions using popular platforms like Azure, and AWS
- Knowledge of data platform engineering, data warehousing, and data lake / lakehouse design
- Experience using major cloud computing services such as Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Ability to design scalable and robust enterprise architectures
- Strong data migration and data management skills
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams
