Job Description
The IT Director I (Communications and Media, Assistant Director I) role involves capturing visual assets to inform and advise internal and external stakeholders about the City of Atlanta's projects and deliverables. The position requires a full-time proficient videographer/photographer to meet key communications needs for the department.
Requirements
Researches, writes, edits and proofreads published content on behalf of the Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT).
Translates ideas and objectives into messaging that relates to the topic, speaker, and intended audiences.
Composes editorials, press releases, statements, announcements, social media messages or articles representing the ATLDOT Commissioner and other ATLDOT Senior Staff.
Develops and maintains a deep knowledge of the Department's projects and priorities to inform all communications materials, including editorial content.
