Job Description
Southwest Power Pool is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator II or Senior to join their dynamic IT Infrastructure Team. The role involves building and decommissioning servers, managing environments, and driving automation to streamline processes. The team plays a vital role in supporting the systems that keep operations running today and preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in an Information Technology related field, or combined equivalent experience
  • Senior: A minimum of six (6) years infrastructure support experience, Level II: A minimum of three (3) years infrastructure support experience
  • Effective computing and problem solving skill
  • An effective knowledge of enterprise server operating systems, applications, hardware configurations, hardware upgrade or repair, problem solving, and troubleshooting skill
  • Knowledge of tcp/ip v4 and v6 networking as it pertains to systems configuration
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Good customer service and organization skills
  • Technical certification pursuant to the Infrastructure Admin Technology Training Certification Program
