Job Description
AdvanSix is a global company that innovates and delivers essential products for various industries. The company is looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain IT and OT infrastructure and processes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering
Proficiency in on-prem & cloud-based AD infrastructure, Windows and Linux administration and scripting
Strong understanding of Azure, AWS and other cloud services, including computer, storage, and networking
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
Security-conscious mindset and knowledge of best practices for securing infrastructure
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to implement strategic initiatives and long-term plans and lead execution of projects
Results oriented approach with outcome orientation
Self-motivated, optimistic, and can-do attitude that prioritizes benefits before challenges
Highly accountable with ability to enable business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic operating environment
