Role Overview

The IT Manager II is accountable for delivery of medium-to-high complexity projects. This position plans, initiates and manages medium-to-high complexity store technology projects involving medium to large sized cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

Define, own, and manage the store hardware lifecycle roadmap, track and manage hardware End-of-Sale (EOS), End-of-Engineering Support (EOES), and End-of-Support (EOS) milestones, and develop multi-year replacement strategies to remediate legacy devices and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science or related equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience leading project planning and executions in a medium to large company
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, retail hardware/software, and retail store technologies
  • Resourcefulness - identifies different ways to accomplish work when resources are limited
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with individuals at different organizational levels
  • Vendor contract negotiation and management
  • Influence and Negotiation: able to obtain consensus between two or more internal or external parties with different interests
  • Proven organization skills: ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands
  • Strong MS Office skills – Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft One Drive and Visio
  • Knowledge of PMO tools such as OnePlan, Primavera, Planview
  • Experience working with Microsoft, Android, and Unix platforms, as well as databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, and programming/scripting languages including Python and PowerShell
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project delivery methodologies
