Job Description
The State of Connecticut is seeking an experienced IT Manager of Endpoint Management to lead enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and endpoint management operations in service of the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF). The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in endpoint management, virtual desktop technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and hybrid workforce support.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of experience in computer or network administration, architecture, operations, production control, systems development, information technology analysis and planning.
  • Two (2) years of the General Experience must have been in a supervisory capacity or one (1) year of the General Experience must have been in a managerial capacity.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • Experience managing enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure for 5,000+ end users
  • Experience in technical process improvement or automation
  • Experience leading information technology modernization initiatives
  • Experience managing and developing staff
