Job Description
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is seeking a Senior IT Portfolio Manager to join its award-winning technology team. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading IT projects related to public health IT and working with the Mental Hygiene vertical within the Bureau of Enterprise Technology Business Solutions.

Requirements

  • Accountable for the IT Portfolio processes including IT planning, portfolio governance, project methodology framework, and resource capacity management.
  • Drive improvements and ensure industry best practices are leveraged.
  • Analyze project proposals to determine timeframe, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
  • Implement project communications including project steering committee meetings and status reports.
  • Manage project risks and issues and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project delivers on schedule and within budget.
