Job Description
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking an IT Project Manager to join its award-winning, innovative technology team in revolutionizing public health IT. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system applications, technical knowledge of system architecture, and experience in project management, data collection, and analysis.
Requirements
Obtain expert-level technical knowledge of several existing system applications
Assume role of liaison between the Bureau of Vital Statistics operations
Assess proposed system enhancements for technical risk and technology options
Gather and document requirements for targeted system improvement
Oversee Quality Assurance team in the creation of test plans
Train users on new features
Plan and submit Change Management Request (CMR) for deployments of upgrades
Become a subject matter expert on the business and technical operations of vital records systems
