Job Description
IT Project Manager (Enterprise Assets) for NW Natural, responsible for managing complex IT projects, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring deliverables are completed to standards.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business, technology, engineering, or related field
5+ years of project management experience
PMI or equivalent certification preferred
Experience in the Utility Industry
Ability to lead project teams of varying sizes
Expertise in asset lifecycle management (plan → acquire → maintain → retire)
Experience with enterprise platforms and tools, including SAP S/4HANA and geospatial solutions (GIS; IQGeo; Esri; Workforce)
Knowledge of SAP EAM, including Plant Maintenance (PM)
Knowledge and experience with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Lifecycle phases, framework, and best practices.
Knowledge and experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and testing process.
Solid understanding of master data structures, including functional locations, equipment, and BOMs
Proven experience managing projects that support field operations, maintenance crews, frontline workforces, and geospatial systems
Understanding of unionized and bargaining unit environments
Experience operating systems hosted on Azure, including an understanding of information systems management
Experience working in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments
Deep understanding of complex integrations and end-to-end data flows
Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and drive accountability against performance expectations
Ability to manage risk and reliability for Tier-1 enterprise systems supporting field operations and geospatial capabilities
Ability to clearly articulate trade-offs between business impact and security risk
Systems-thinking mindset across networks, infrastructure, applications, vendors, and business operations
