Role OverviewThe IT Security Project Specialist will plan, manage, and coordinate a portfolio of cybersecurity projects related to the implementation of information security policies, annual risk assessments, network and endpoint scans, and other IT security measures. The role requires collaboration with high-level project stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships, and staying abreast of new trends and innovations in IT and data security. The Specialist will provide IT security subject matter expertise in the development and maintenance of an enterprise security architecture.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the IT Security Project Specialist include planning and managing cybersecurity projects, facilitating project charters and business case analysis, engaging high-level project stakeholders, building and maintaining collaborative relationships, and providing IT security subject matter expertise. The Specialist will also evaluate the posture and potential vulnerabilities of the Agency's networks, hardware, systems, and mobile devices, and develop and maintain comprehensive project delivery reports.

Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- Four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to projects and policies
