Role OverviewOur client in the Springfield, MA area is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing & Purchasing Consultant to support their strategic procurement initiatives. This role involves managing IT sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations within a hybrid work environment, focusing on optimizing costs and procurement processes across various technology categories.
What You Will Do
Lead and execute procurement strategies for IT spend, including software, SaaS, hardware, cloud services, telecommunications, and professional services. Facilitate RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and supplier evaluations to identify the best sourcing options. Negotiate pricing, contract terms, statements of work, and renewals to maximize value and cost savings.
