Job Description
IT Support Specialist role in a hybrid remote capacity, providing desktop support, coordinating hardware and software upgrades, and assisting with network troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Assist in testing changes, upgrades, and new software products
  • Make recommendations for functional and technical improvements
  • Participate in performance and volume analysis
  • Identify and implement potential enhancements
  • Provide accurate and timely answers to general environment and user support questions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technology support and service requests
  • Act as the liaison between business functions and technology requirements
  • Provide desktop computer support
  • Coordinate the procurement, installation, and configuration of new computer hardware and software
  • Manage virus protection software deployment and updates
  • Install, configure, and maintain software patches, upgrades, and system updates
  • Document technical procedures, system changes, and support activities
  • Ensure reliable backups are performed and maintained
  • Proactively address customer needs and communicate status updates effectively
  • Investigate user-reported problems and implement tested solutions
  • Troubleshoot network issues, systems, and applications
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for system users
  • Evaluate utilization patterns and their impact on system performance and availability
