Role OverviewHDR is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team in San Diego, CA. This on-site role supports 24/7 operations and involves applying technology to address business needs and constraints while assisting staff to achieve efficient use of computing technology.
What You Will Do
You will diagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems, provide advanced troubleshooting on complicated IT issues, support software applications, and provide desk side training. You will also assist with inventory management of hardware assets, coordinate local office technical support topics, and work with Systems Administrators on IT infrastructure processes.

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Computer Science/MIS-related area or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support of PC, networks and servers
- Excellent working knowledge of personal computer and peripherals
- Experience in systems operations and maintenance
- Working knowledge of Windows 7/10/365 and Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
- A valid driver's license is required for this position
