Job Description
IT Support Technician I is responsible for support of PCs, printers, and related equipment, providing helpdesk support and resolving day-to-day technical issues, while working under the direction of the Firm’s IT Manager.

Requirements

  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve PC and related problems both onsite and remotely.
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
  • Provide support for basic IT issues such as password resets, peripheral configurations, desktop/laptop and tablet configurations, software installations and hardware repair.
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and software.
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
  • Provision new hardware for new and existing users and reimage computers.
  • Support new hires, employee changes and terminations.
  • Handle other projects as assigned.
