Role OverviewThe IT Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems. This role requires exercising discretion and independent judgment regarding IT solutions that directly impact business operations, cybersecurity, compliance, and system efficiency. The IT Systems Administrator collaborates across departments to develop strategies, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvements in IT processes.
What You Will Do
Broad variety of operations administration duties associated with computer systems and IT infrastructure, including overseeing day-to-day management of IT task ticket system, assisting with maintenance and management of network servers and technology tools, and troubleshooting user software/hardware/connectivity issues.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to analyze and solve problems, possess solid organizational skills, and have good verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Enterprise IT admin, formal computer science training, and writing documentation of Best Practices are also desirable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Computer networks training
- Experience with Enterprise IT admin
- Formal computer science training is a plus
- A working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Group Policy Management
- Writing documentation of Best Practices
- Good verbal and written communication skills
