Job Description
NextEra Energy is seeking an IT Technology Director to lead the replacement of its legacy generation telemetry data warehouse with a modern data lakehouse solution. This role focuses on bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring data reliability, streamlined processes, and measurable business value. The Director will be responsible for program execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivering operational outcomes to ensure success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale data technology programs in telemetry-intensive industries.
  • Strong background in data platforms, historians, and/or modern data lakehouse technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to translate technical concepts.
  • Experience managing budgets, tracking value delivery, and reporting program performance.
