Role OverviewAs an ITS/Traffic Designer / EIT at HDR, you will work on projects under the direction of the project manager and senior engineers, on ITS and traffic management system projects. You will develop plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) design packages for freeway, arterial and transit ITS systems, including fiber optic and wireless communication systems, power distributions systems, CCTV, DMS, vehicle detection systems, HAR, RWIS, traffic signal interconnect, transit signal priority, lightning control systems, and other ITS technologies and sub-systems.
What You Will Do
Develop System Engineering Analyses, ITS Architectures, Concept of Operations, ITS and TSM&O Master Plans, Traffic Management Center Standard Operational Procedures and Performance Measures Guidelines, ITS design plans, ITS equipment specifications, along with subsequent testing, operations and maintenance activities.
