The IVR Application Architect is a senior technical authority responsible for defining, owning, and evolving the architecture of IVR applications supporting large-scale voice contact center environments.

Requirements

  • Own and define end-to-end IVR application architecture across platforms and integrations
  • Translate business and non-functional requirements into architectural designs and principles
  • Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance IVR solution architectures
  • Define and maintain architectural patterns, standards, and best practices for IVR systems
  • Provide architectural leadership and technical direction to IVR Engineers and development team of 2-5 developers
  • Review designs and implementations to ensure architectural compliance and quality
  • Guide integration strategies between IVR applications, web services, and internal systems
  • Identify architectural risks, performance constraints, and scalability limits early in the design phase
  • Support complex production issues from an architectural and systemic perspective
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on technical planning, estimation input, and delivery feasibility
