Job Description
The Georgia Department of Revenues Information Technology Division is seeking a full stack Java Developer for development and application support over Java-based applications supporting the Local Government Services Division. The role involves design, coding, testing, and debugging software applications, research and analysis of system problems, and communication with business users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or information system management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in software development with Java, JavaScript, J2SE, J2EE, Struts, and Springs frameworks
  • Minimum 2 years experience with web development using servlet container Tomcat, XML, XLS Stylesheet, Web Services, Oracle databases, and SSL Certificates
  • Solid working experience with development productivity tools such as Eclipse, BIRT Reports, TOAD, SQL Developer, Azure DevOps, and Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
