Role Overview

The NYC Financial Information Services Agency – Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) has a vacancy for a Java developer who will provide support of production and development for our citywide automated time keeping system (CITYTIME). The candidate's primary responsibilities will include building scalable, secure, and robust enterprise-level applications using the Java platform and its associated frameworks.

What You Will Do

Design and develop Java-based applications using the Java EE platform and related technologies, work closely with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and integrate software components into a fully functional system.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java, experience with MVC frameworks and ORM technologies, and knowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
