Job Description
Role Overview

The Job Coach will provide employment support to individuals with developmental disabilities, exploring vocational interests, and assisting with job placements. The ideal candidate will be able to mobilize resources and support participants to reach their career goals.

What You Will Do

The Job Coach will provide direct support to individuals, including employment support, vocational interest exploration, and job placement assistance. They will also maintain relationships with employers, communicate employment opportunities, and document activities through case notes and progress reports.

The successful candidate will be able to adapt to frequent changes, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality and ethical practice. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work a flexible schedule are also required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
  • Ability to navigate computers and varying computer software
  • CA Driver License
  • Clean driving record
