Role Overview

Job Developer serves on a team that is the central point of contact to coordinate and provide job placement and support services for assigned clients. The role involves developing individualized employment plans, conducting employability assessments, and providing career counseling and job coaching. The position requires working with difficult and uncooperative clients, and the ability to perform under circumstances of possible emotional stress and conflicts.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include developing individualized employment plans, conducting employability assessments, providing career counseling and job coaching, and developing relationships with local employers. The role also involves monitoring participants, tracking progress, and timely reporting progress.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
  • Ability to perform under circumstances of possible emotional stress and conflicts dealing with difficult, uncooperative, and potentially aggressive clients
  • 1 year of experience in case management or as a job developer
  • High school diploma (or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate) - Must be over the age of 18 years
