Job Description
This is a physical non-bargaining position that involves building and maintaining electric power systems, restoring electric service to customers, and performing tasks such as climbing poles, working in confined spaces, and using hand and power tools. The position requires a valid Class A driving permit, a valid DMV medical exam, and the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • Completion of a federal or state sanctioned line worker apprenticeship
  • Valid Class A driving permit
  • Valid DMV medical exam
  • High School diploma or GED and 5 years electric line utility experience
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work and drive in all types of weather and road conditions
  • Capable of working extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
