Role OverviewWorks as a crew member taking direction from foremen and trains and guides apprentices and helpers on installation, demolition of mechanical piping systems, components, and moving of material. Maintains safe working practices throughout all activities.
What You Will Do
Loads/unloads/moves material, reads and understands project documents, plans for efficient installation of piping systems, and communicates safety issues with the foreman.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have extensive knowledge of construction hand tools, at least 5 years of construction experience, and adhere to safety protocol.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Reliable transportation to travel to various jobsites
- Extensive knowledge of construction hand tools
- At least an Apprenticeship School or a Technical School degree, or a 5-year combination of Journeyman-level MEP trades experience
