Role OverviewThe Jr DevSecOps Engineer builds and operates secure delivery pipelines for the platform using AWS-native tooling. The role requires collaboration with a technical team and possession of current DevOps/DevSecOps experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, security automation, and scripting. The ideal candidate will work independently while collaborating effectively within a technical team.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure-as-code, integrating security scanning, automating compliance evidence, and embedding AI-assisted tooling for scanning, testing, and pipeline authoring.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience, hands-on AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience, and scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance, and willing to work a hybrid schedule.
Requirements
- 3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience
- Hands-on AWS and infrastructure-as-code (CDK/CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and security automation
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Education or professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Consistent on-time attendance and reliability
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
