Job Description
Custom Glass Solutions is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Jr. Quality Engineer. The role involves ensuring that all glass products, processes, and systems meet required quality standards, comply with industry regulations, and align with customer expectations. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, performing inspections, analyzing production processes, and working cross-functionally to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with glass fabrication or processing is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
  • Familiarity with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, glass thickness gauges) and testing equipment used in glass production
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and quality tools (SPC, DOE, Pareto analysis)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with quality software (e.g., Minitab, QMS platforms) is a plus
