Job Description
The Junior Systems Administrator supports the installation, configuration, security, and day-to-day operation of IT systems in a federal defense manufacturing environment.
Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience
1-2 years of experience in a systems or network support role (internships, co-ops, or military experience acceptable)
Working knowledge of Windows desktop and server environments
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
Experience troubleshooting common hardware and software issues on PCs, laptops, and peripherals
Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to follow established procedures in a regulated environment
Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal background checks or clearances (if applicable to the contract)
