Job Description
Rycon Construction is seeking an experienced superintendent for our Ft. Lauderdale office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years construction supervisory experience in commercial construction and a strong knowledge of associated trades.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years construction supervisory experience in commercial construction
  • Project values up to $5 million+ are desirable
  • Knowledge of South Florida market is preferred; bi-lingual is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of associated trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, finish trades, layout, etc.
  • The ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts and specifications
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and enforcement of such
  • Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment
  • Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), prior experience with scheduling software is a plus
  • Ability to endure frequent activity such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above the shoulder, pushing, and pulling.
