Role OverviewAs a Junior DevSecOps Engineer at Peregrine Advisors, you will be part of a high-performing team of developers, engineers, data scientists, architects, and strategists solving complex, real-world problems. You will help build and operate secure delivery pipelines that carry a federal platform's services into production, and work on adapting across roles and clients to create public value.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, writing infrastructure-as-code on Amazon Web Services (AWS), containerizing services, and wiring up monitoring, logging, and vulnerability scanning. You will also help assemble security evidence to carry a system through its Authority to Operate (ATO).

Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- ability to obtain a Public Trust determination
- 3+ years of software development, platform, or operations engineering experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Working knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts
- Hands-on experience in at least one pipeline tool
- Familiarity with cloud services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and containerization
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
- Basic proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel
