Role OverviewDAS is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to support Department of Defense projects at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, analysis, testing, and integration in support of Army systems.
What You Will Do
Support design, modeling, and analysis of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, components, and assemblies. Apply knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems to assist in integration and interface management between subsystems.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to work onsite at APG, MD (5 days/week).
- 0–3 years of relevant experience, including internships or cooperative education in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering roles.
- Foundational understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering principles, including system integration, component design, and analysis.
- Experience with engineering design and analysis tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated attention to technical detail.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication for technical documentation and collaboration.
