Role OverviewThe Junior Mechanical Engineer functions as an integral part of the design team for Fed-Florida Business Unit projects, performing technical duties in Mechanical engineering, including design, engineering calculations, and analysis.

Assist in project development, create deliverables, maintain project documentation, communicate effectively, and foster an environment for innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a BS Mechanical Engineering degree, up to five years of professional Mechanical Engineering experience, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
Requirements
- BS Mechanical Engineering degree required from an ABET-accredited program
- Up to five years of professional Mechanical Engineering experience
- EIT Certification preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
- Working knowledge of ASHRAE, ASME, NFPA, NEC, UFC, and UFC codes
- Experience with CAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, or other Mechanical system modeling/drafting software
