Role OverviewThe Junior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will create Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and materialized views using advanced features of Oracle 11g and 12. They will also perform ETL processing with Python, Oracle, and Unix, and work on performance tuning for existing SQL and PL/SQL objects. Additionally, they will design and develop complex Unix Shell scripts to automate batch job processing and create reports on a real-time, daily, and weekly basis.
What You Will Do
The Junior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for loading huge data sets from multiple vendors, performing data cleansing, data transformations, and data loading, which involves data modeling and data analytics. They will also automate flat file loading to Oracle using SQL Loader and create control files for that activity.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle performance tuning skills, experience with GitHub Copilot or other Dev Assist tools, and the ability to understand the flow end to end from UI to DB.
