Role Overview

The Junior Project Manager will assist senior project managers in steering power and renewable energy infrastructure projects through complex regulatory, environmental, and land-use permitting processes. You will serve as a liaison between engineering teams, external environmental consultants, and regulatory agencies, ensuring all project activities are executed in compliance with relevant laws and regulatory conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, environmental consulting, or power/utility infrastructure.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of federal frameworks like the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) or state/local land use and zoning laws.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain meticulous documentation.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with clients and drafting clear technical documents
