Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Youth Services is recruiting for a Juvenile Parole Officer in the Northern Region. The successful candidate will work with youth and families in Erie, Fulton, Huron, Lucas, and Ottawa counties. The role involves developing case plans, monitoring progress, and providing support to help youth transition back into the community.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include developing case plans, monitoring caseloads, coordinating community services, and maintaining contact with youth, family, and other services. The officer will also impose sanctions and incentives, respond to crisis situations, and prepare reports for court submission.

Requirements
- Undergraduate core coursework in criminal justice, criminology, social work, sociology or related field
- Valid driver's license
- 6 months experience in probation or parole case management &/or probation or parole crisis management
