Job Description
The position of Juvenile Probation Officer involves providing social services to assist in the rehabilitation of juvenile law offenders in custody or on probation or parole. The incumbent will make recommendations for actions involving formulation of rehabilitation plans and treatment of offenders.

Requirements

  • Four years of experience working directly with adolescents in one or more of the following fields: criminal justice, social services, or education
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Certification in accordance with State of Florida Department of Juvenile Justice direct care training policy or obtain such certification within 180 days of employment
