Role OverviewThis position provides social services to assist in the rehabilitation of juvenile law offenders in custody or on probation or parole. The incumbent makes recommendations for actions involving the formulation of a rehabilitation plan and treatment of the offender.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities include case management, referrals, recommendations, and assessment. The incumbent will initiate contact with the youth, family, victims, and law enforcement, conduct home and school visits, obtain and review collateral information, and conduct and document FDJJ screening(s).

Requirements
- Four years of experience working directly with adolescents in one or more of the following fields: criminal justice, social services, or education.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Certification as a State of Florida Juvenile Probation Officer is preferred.
