Role OverviewThe Handler will be responsible for screening cargo in compliance with TSA rules and regulations, participating in CCSP related training, and commanding a trained working dog.
What You Will Do
Perform Handler duties, maintain training records, care for and maintain assigned canine, and maintain job-related certifications and security clearances.

Must be able to obtain a Known Traveler Number (KTN), Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, and Security Threat Assessment (STA) for Airport Badge within four to six weeks of employment.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Three years of citizenship prior to date of application
- One to two years of documented experience handling an explosive detection dog in an operational environment
- Ability to obtain a Known Traveler Number (KTN) within four to six weeks of employment
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge within four to six weeks of employment
- Ability to obtain a Security Threat Assessment (STA) for Airport Badge within four to six weeks of employment
- Valid driver's license and a clear driving record for the last three years
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to lift and carry various items weighing up to 100 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in all weather conditions
