Role OverviewThe part-time Kids Ministry Leader is responsible for starting, leading, overseeing and organizing all aspects of the Kids Ministry (newborn – 8th grade) while cultivating an environment where kids grow in their knowledge and faith in Jesus.
What You Will Do
Launch and lead LPC's new kids ministry, recruit and train new volunteers, ensure a secure environment, and build intergenerational relationships within the church.

Requirements
- Personal and growing relationship with Jesus and alignment with LPC's mission and C&MA's statement of faith
- Become an active member of LPC and regularly participate in the life of the church
- Desire to be part of a team that works to complete The Great Commission one connection at a time
- Previous experience working with kids
- Ability to communicate the Gospel and Biblical truth in engaging ways for kids
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Positive, flexible, determined attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and lead volunteers
- Willingness to work under the direction of the Lead Pastor and the oversight of the Board
- Display humility, hospitality, teachability and servant leadership
- Trauma-informed care training or willingness to receive TIC training is required
