Teach a diverse group of Elementary School students, plan and implement lessons, create a safe and engaging classroom environment, and assess student progress. Requires certification, a valid Delaware License, and a favorable background check.

Requirements

  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Delaware License and K-12 Certification in required areas
  • Successful completion of Praxis II exams
  • Additional qualifications and/or alternatives as deemed necessary by the Board of Education and Administration
  • Dual certification Special Education and General Education
  • Trauma informed practices trained
  • Science of reading training
